Is Arpege the only model going for snow on Thursday? GFS looks quite warm…

WRF has also picked up on Monday morning snow for the south of the region, only light, probably mixed precip for lower levels later into the day too, although j thought it would be cold enough for snow…

I would love to know why exactly snow was so widespread when temperatures were only around 2c at lower levels, was it the intensity? The fact is was a frontal feature? Etc.

7cm in the end in favoured spots (grass, cars) more than the previous event, well forecast here… Not so much for the met office 😂

Longer range, it looks like turning milder again after monday before a possible colder return
