Dramatic temperature after 2pm at Irlam and a gradual drop since 2.30pm, was 11.0C at around 2pm now 5.5C

6.0c from 10.5c at 2.35pm here in Sale.. rain records nearly 55mm between yesterday and today on my Davis pro. Mmm are we going to be lucky later on with the snow east M6?

Blue > rain to heavy wet sleet / snow producing 1-2.5cm locally with a transition back to rain due to a maritime layer
Purple > lighter sleet / wet snow producing 2mm to 2cm locally
Yellow > rain to snow producing 1-4cm fairly widely below 150m & up to 10cm in places above.
Orange > 5-12cm

4.1°C here now, 3.8 at Crosby. For what it’s worth that’s about 1.5–2° lower than what the WRF predicted for this time.

Guessing you were looking at these…. Looks like snow for most in our area if this is accurate.
